    Job Description / Responsibilities:

    • Lay blocks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to project specifications.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
    • Mix and apply mortar or adhesives to secure blocks in place.
    • Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, and other measuring tools.
    • Cut and shape blocks as needed to fit architectural designs.
    • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and building codes.
    • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete construction projects efficiently.
    • Inspect masonry structures for potential issues and recommend repairs or reinforcements.
    • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

    Educational Qualification: GCSEs

    Skill Set: Brick and block laying ,Mixing and applying mortar, Measuring and cutting materials, Blueprint reading Surface leveling and alignment Using hand and power tools Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Repairing and replacing damaged blocks, Time management and efficiency, Physical stamina and endurance

    Job Type: Permanent

    Working Hours: Full-time (30 hours per week or more)

    Language Requirement: Minimum of UKVI IELTS 4 or equivalent

    Salary : £31000 - £38700
